7Core Insights builds its analysis on a structured combination of technical documentation, empirical testing, product-level observation, and industry research. This page defines the types of sources we use and how they are validated within our evaluation system.

We prioritise verifiable, primary, and technically authoritative sources over opinion-based commentary.

1. Primary Technical Documentation

Primary documentation is the foundation of all technical understanding in our system.

2. Hands-on Testing Outputs

Where applicable, we generate first-party observations through controlled testing environments.

3. Benchmark Data Sources

Benchmarks are constructed using repeatable conditions and consistent evaluation criteria.

4. Industry & Research Sources

We supplement system testing with external research from credible technical sources.

  • Peer-reviewed research papers (where applicable)

5. Source Reliability Hierarchy

Not all sources carry equal weight in our evaluation framework.

  • Tier 1: Hands-on testing and benchmark data
  • Tier 2: Official documentation and system specs
  • Tier 3: Technical research and engineering publications
  • Tier 4: Secondary analysis and commentary (used cautiously)
Higher-tier sources always override lower-tier interpretations in final evaluations.

6. How Sources Are Used

Sources are not simply cited—they are actively integrated into the evaluation pipeline.

  • Define test parameters before benchmarking begins

  • Support or reject performance hypotheses

7. Source Integrity Principle

We do not selectively use sources to support predetermined conclusions. Instead, all conclusions must emerge from reproducible evidence.

If a source conflicts with empirical test results, empirical results take precedence.
